1. Prepare the Injection:
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
- Take off the orange and clear covers on the syringe.
- Clean top of bottle with alcohol wipe. (Bottle must be refrigerated)
2. Choosing the Injection Site:
- Stomach: Inject at least 2 inches away from the belly button.
- Buttocks: Another safe location for injection.
- Rotation is key! Rotate sites to prevent soreness or skin damage.
This ensures optimal absorption of Tirzepatide and reduces the risk of irritation.
3. Administer the Injection:
- Clean the injection site with an alcohol wipe.
- Pinch the skin gently and insert the needle at a 90-degree angle.
- Inject the dose as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
- Remove the needle and dispose of it in a sharps container, following local regulations.
